I purchased the Pearl JG-16 to convert a Premier 16" X 18" floor tom to a bass drum. It has done the job nicely and looks very tidy and compact. Please note you will also require the Pearl ISS and BT-3 components to complete the conversion project. It cost me around £30 in total to convert my floor tom to a bass drum. Apparently Pearl made this product with musicians into Jungle music.....? Any way i use it for jazz/be-bop/blues and the likes. I use a fairly small 3 drums 3 cymbals kit and it works well for me.
