Ok, I have tried every gimmick that has come down the pike, So called "dry" snare heads, Focus -x and studio -x etc...etc...etc...You name it I have tried it, I always come back to Remo Controlled sound for my snare! It gives the best sound, just the right amount of ring, a super intense "Crack" and holds up very nice for a one ply head.I use Evans on all my other Drums but when it comes to the Snare, this is the best head on the market...end of story!
