I bought these on a whim as my daughter just really loves to watch someone play the drums on Rock Band. I thought it would be cool to use them to encourage her more to play. And they sufficiently accomplish that and then some. But when it actually comes to practicing the game and improving your skill, they fall short. They just feel mushy when you use them. They don't have the right resistance that traditional wood sticks give you on an electric drum pad (see Zildjian Nylon Anti-Vibe Drumsticks). I love the electric blue color, just not enough to use the sticks as often as I would like.

These definitely look kewl, but the acrylic is too soft, so the sticks flex as you strike. This provides an unpleasant "mushy" experience. Gripping them closer to the tip ameliorates the problem somewhat, but changes the dynamics.
These are fun to show your friends, but not really ready for primetime.
